In 1975 we became a part of Náměstí republiky. A free year construction preceded the grand opening ceremony. The architecture project od Mr. and Ms. Machonin was put in reality by a Swedish construction company Siab. The building consists of iron and concrete skeleton divided into six units. Each of these has a unique concept and together they make a unusually dynamic space, which adds to a comfortable atmosphere of the department store. Extraordinary architecture is another reason why Kotva is a favorite destination of shoppers not just from Prague.
